Robinson Lady Maroons Fall to Columbia Varsity Eagles

(Columbia IL) — The Robinson Lady Maroons Softball came up short in a 3–1 road loss against the Columbia Varsity Eagles on Tuesday. After three scoreless innings, Columbia broke through in the fourth with a three-run homer, which proved to be the game-winning play. Robinson managed to get on the board in the sixth with an RBI single from Eva Herman, but couldn’t close the gap. Eva Herman pitched a complete game for Robinson, allowing 4 hits, 3 earned runs, and striking out 10. She also led the offense with two hits.
