Crawford County Sheriff’s Office Is Hiring Full-Time Correctional/Security Officers

(Crawford Co.) — The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is hiring full-time correctional/security officers to perform jail and court security duties. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 21 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, have a valid driver’s license, and meet physical and background standards. CCSO states the position includes health insurance, life insurance, SLEP pension, paid holidays, vacation, personal days, and an $850 annual uniform allowance. Applications are due by June 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., and candidates must attend a mandatory written test on June 18 at 5:00 p.m. at the Crawford County Forest Preserve.
