The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office Hiring Part-Time Deputy Sheriff

(Crawford Co.) — The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is hiring a part-time Deputy Sheriff. Law enforcement academy is preferred, but not required to apply. If selected, academy attendance and a power test will be required if not already certified. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is hiring a part-time deputy sheriff. Applications are due by June 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., and a mandatory written test will be held on June 18 at 5:00 p.m. at the Crawford County Forest Preserve. Uniforms and equipment are provided, along with a $400 annual clothing allowance. Applications can be submitted in person, by fax, or by email to adminassist@crawfordcounty.illinois.gov, and are available at the Sheriff’s Office or by email request.
