(Undated) — A Paris, Illinois man was arrested over the weekend on a Crawford County Warrant. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, on Saturday deputies arrested forty-seven-year-old Cory Hampsten for Failure to Appear Retail Theft, and Unlawful Possession of a Theft Detection Device Remover. Rutan says Hampsten was extradited from the Coles County Sheriff’s Office in Charleston, IL, and brought back to our facility. Hampsten was processed through the jail and remains in custody awaiting a detainment hearing.
