(Oblong) — Oblong residents now have easy access to the CCHD’s “Residential Sharps Collection Program.” According to the Crawford County Health Department, free sharps containers and disposal are now available at Harmon’s Drug Store in Oblong. The Oblong store joins the CCHD and the Harmons location in Palestine as official pick-up and drop-off locations for the program. The “Residential Sharps Collection Program” offers free “sharps” containers as well as proper disposal of full containers at no cost.
