CCSD Looking for Part-Time 911 Dispatcher

(Undated) – The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a part-time 911 dispatcher. Duties include answering emergency and non-emergency phone calls, dispatching all emergency personnel for police, fire, rescue, and ambulance for all of Crawford County, providing pre-arrival instructions for emergency calls, and entering and updating nationwide wanted, missing, and stolen items. Applicants should be able to type proficiently at least 30-40 words per minute and have computer knowledge. The one and only written test date will be held on June 25th at 5:00 p.m., with the testing to be held at the Crawford County Forest Preserve. Dispatchers have regular schedules each week and starting pay is $21.39 an hour with shift differential available.
