(Robinson) — The City of Robinson held a promotional ceremony for the leadership changes within the Robinson Police Department yesterday. Robinson Mayor, Mike Shimer, swore in Eric Schmidt as the new Robinson Police Chief. Schmidt is replacing Chad Weaver, who had served as Chief since 2016. Also, during yesterday’s ceremony, Patrolman, Jake Leek, was officially sworn in and promoted to RPD Sergeant.
