Gas Prices Fall Over the Weekend

(Undated) — Gas prices slipped lower over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.09 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is down a penny from Friday at $3.41 a gallon. Indiana drivers are paying an average of $3.16 a gallon, two cents lower than Friday’s average. Mississippi currently has the lowest prices in the nation at $2.64 a gallon, unchanged from Friday. California has the highest prices with an average of $4.56 a gallon, a nickel lower than Friday.
