Crawford County Sheriff’s Department Continues to Accept Dispatcher Applications

(Undated) – The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to accept applications for a part-time 911 dispatcher. Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, says dispatchers have regular schedules each week and starting pay is $21.39 an hour with shift differential available. He says applicants should be able to type proficiently at least 30-40 words per minute and have computer knowledge. Rutan says the one and only written test date will be held on June 25th at 5:00 p.m., with the testing to be held at the Crawford County Forest Preserve.
