(Oblong) — The Village of Oblong and the Oblong Chamber of Commerce will hold the official ribbon cutting and grand opening of the South Range Street Mini Park tomorrow. Oblong Chamber of Commerce Representative, Angie Catt, says this has been a “community project.”

Catt says the events begin tomorrow morning with a Farmer’s Market from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Beginning at 4 p.m., porkburgers, nachos, and hot dogs will be available, and the official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. The Crawford County Collectibles Cruise-in will also begin at 5 p.m. “Absent Ground,” a rock-n-roll country cover band hailing from the small town of Greenup, will take the stage at 6 p.m. The public is reminded to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy a great day in Oblong.
