Friday Motorcycle/Mower Accident Sends Two to the Hospital

(Robinson) — A collision between a mower and a motorcycle sent two to the hospital on Friday. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, 68-year-old Lester Hoke was driving a 2013 John Deere mower southbound on the shoulder of North 1125th St., blowing mowed grass off the roadway. Reports indicate that Hoke turned east across North 1125th and into the path of thirty-nine-year-old Cameron Bachelor of Robinson, on a 2006 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Bachelor and his passenger, thirty-eight-year-old Samantha Bachelor, were both transported to Crawford Memorial Hospital by United` Lifecare Ambulance Service. Flat Rock Fire Department and Crawford County Rescue assisted in the incident.
