Gas Prices Down for Holiday Travel

(Undated) — Drivers hitting the road for the holiday weekend can expect lower gas prices. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.15 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.43 a gallon. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $3.17 a gallon. Oklahoma has the lowest statewide average at $2.70. California drivers are paying the highest average at $4.55 a gallon.
