(Robinson) — The Robinson City Council has several items on the agenda for tonight’s meeting. In “New Business,” they are set to discuss the annual appropriation ordinance, an ordinance authorizing the execution of an annexation agreement for Highsmith Street, and an ordinance annexing “certain territory” to the City of Robinson. In other business, the City Council is set to approve the hiring of Duke Thompson as part-time help for the Street Department, approve a couple of requests from the Wastewater Treatment Facility, and review an ordinance to vacate parts of South Eagleton, East Walnut, East Chestnut, and East Pine Street. The Robinson City Council meets this evening at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Robinson Civic Center.
