(Undated) — The National Weather Service says hot and humid conditions will push heat index values into the 90s most afternoons through this weekend. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, heat indices will be near 100 degrees tomorrow and Thursday afternoon, and again Saturday and Sunday afternoon. They say isolated to scattered thunderstorms are also expected today through Thursday evening and again Saturday through Sunday, with locally heavy rainfall possible along with cloud-to-ground lightning strikes.
