According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, peak heat index values of 105 to 110 degrees will be common during the afternoons. They also say isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected from today through Sunday. They say that while the severe weather threat appears low at this time, areas of heavy rain are possible.
