(Robinson) – “National Night Out” is coming up next week. Robinson Mayor, Mike Shimer, says this is a great chance to support area first responders.
Shimer says the public is invited to bring their kids out to see and interact with not just the police, but all emergency services personnel. Check out the vehicles and equipment of area first responders, and enjoy free hot dogs and drinks. Robinson Police Chief, Eric Schmidt, says there will be free music, bounce houses, and the K-9 team will conduct a demonstration. “National Night Out” is a community-building event, and will be held on August 5th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Robinson City Park.
