Palestine Village Board Meets Today

(Palestine) — The Palestine Village Board meets this afternoon, and they have a handful of items on the agenda. In “New Business,” they are set to discuss and approve allowing ATVs on village streets, adopting a resolution for the Hazard Mitigation Plan, an ordinance for a truck route, and the purchase of an aerator for the lagoon. In other business, they are set to hear from the Palestine Development Association regarding the Wine and Arts Festival in October, discuss and approve a contract with USDA for “wildlife services,” as well as the sale of surplus public real estate. The Palestine Village Board meets this afternoon at 5 p.m. in the Village Hall.
