Lady Maroons Volleyball Team Improves to 2-0

(Robinson) — It took three sets, but the RHS Varsity Volleyball Team picked up a win last night. RHS beat South Knox 11-25, 25-20, 25-23. Grace Miller led the Lady Maroons with two aces, seven digs, and twelve kills. Head Coach, Sydni Bailey, says the girls struggled. She says their communication wasn’t where it should be. However, the girls fought hard and finished set two strongly with high energy and positive momentum, and stayed steady in the third set, despite making a few mistakes late. With the win, the girls improved to 2-0 on the season. They will be back in action next Thursday when they host Neoga.
