Gas Prices Continue to Fluctuate

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is a penny higher today than a week ago. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.22 a gallon. Here in Illinois, drivers are paying an average of $3.49 a gallon, down six cents from the end of last week. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.23 per gallon, twelve cents lower than a week ago. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest statewide average $2.72 a gallon, a penny down from last Friday. California drivers are paying the highest at $4.61 a gallon, up three cents from last Friday.
