RHS Soccer Team Picks Up Win Over Mt. Carmel

(Robinson) — The RHS Soccer Team shutout Mt. Carmel yesterday 7-0. Head Coach, Hillary Maxwell, says the Maroons did a great job securing another home win. She says the team came out ready to play and secured a goal early in the half, which helped push the pace. Maxwell says Owyn Steele and Zoe Tuttle have really stepped up the last three games to hold down the defense and “help direct the wings.” The Maroons were led by Jaxon Hires, who finished with two goals. Zoe Tuttle finished with five steals. Goalkeeper, Felix Reynolds, finished with ten saves. With the win, the Maroons improve to 2-3 on the season. They are set to be back in action tomorrow when they host Newton.
