Gas Prices Fell Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.12 a gallon, down six cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, drivers are paying an average of $3.43 a gallon, down a nickel from the end of the week. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.18 per gallon, eight cents lower than Friday. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest statewide average $2.67 a gallon, three cents lower than Friday. California drivers are paying the highest at $4.61 a gallon, down two cents from last Friday.
