(Undated) — The Illinois Department of Transportation is announcing the largest multi-year program to build and repair infrastructure in the state’s history. According to IDOT, they will be spending $50.6-billion over six years. IDOT Public Information Officer, Paul Wappel, says the program is spread across all modes of transportation and touches every Illinois county. The Crawford County Highway Department will be receiving $750-thousand for the bridge replacement project in Stoy.
