(Undated) — The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is reminding drivers to be safe during the upcoming winter storm. Sheriff, Bill Rutan, advises that travel will be impacted and could be very difficult beginning tomorrow afternoon and continuing into Sunday as a bitter arctic airmass pushes through the area, bringing below freezing wind chills and the potential for several inches of snow. He says if you can stay home and off the roads as much as possible, that’s your safest plan. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
