(Undated) — With severe weather in the forecast, the Crawford County EMA is reminding the public to be “weather aware.” They emphasize how important it is to have several ways to receive alerts, including a NOAA Weather Radio, your cell phone, local radio, TV, and the internet. They remind the public that the outdoor warning system is to alert people outdoors to seek shelter immediately, and then to seek further information. They say you should never rely solely on the outdoor warning system to alert you of weather dangers.
