Severe Weather Remains in Our Forecast

(Undated) — We may be in for some severe weather today. According to the current “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, while a few strong thunderstorms may contain hail late this morning, the main severe weather risk will be during the afternoon and early evening hours. They say damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes remain the main concerns. The chance of precipitation is 90% with new rainfall amounts forecast to be between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, with higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Sunshine returns tomorrow with daytime highs forecast to be in the upper forties.
