(Undated) – The Crawford County Health Department is encouraging the community to take advantage of its “Residential Sharps Collection Program.” According to CCHD officials, the “Residential Sharps Collection Program” offers free “sharps” containers as well as proper disposal of full containers at no cost. Containers can be picked up and dropped off at the Crawford County Health Department, Harmon’s Drug Store in Palestine and Oblong, as well as Bertram Pharmacy in Robinson. They say all sharps must be in an approved sharps container before entering the building. For questions, please call 618-544-8798. Learn more at CCHD.net.
