Carolyn A. Adams, 83, long-time resident of Litchfield, MI, went Home to be with her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on March 2, 2026, from The Oaks at Battle Creek Assisted Living, Battle Creek, MI.
Born in January 1943, Carolyn was the only child of Ralph and Avis (Creed) Musgrave. She grew up in Robinson, IL. She married LeRoy Adams in 1961. They transferred with his job with Marathon Oil Company to Michigan in 1967. He preceded her in death in 1985. Also preceding, her parents, and daughter-in-law, Denise (Chalfant) Adams.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Ron Adams, Jill (Tim) Vargo, and Jeff Adams, all of Michigan; grandchildren, Christopher, Lindsey, both of Michigan, and Alexandra (Mark) of Colorado; and many much loved nieces and nephews and their families around the country.
Our deepest gratitude to all of her doctors, nurses, to the staff of The Oaks at Battle Creek Assisted Living, and Gentiva Hospice who helped us care for her during her valiant battle with cancer.
As she wished, cremation has taken place. A small gathering of family and friends is planned in the Spring. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Mount Hope Cemetery, Litchfield, Michigan, in a private graveside service.
