(Undated) — Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to continue for the area. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, while the chance of severe weather appears low, periods of thunderstorms are expected through the day today as well as overnight tonight into Friday night. They say that at the current time, it appears the best chances for any severe weather will be Friday night after midnight. Additional thunderstorm chances are expected on Tuesday, though the severe weather risk is uncertain at this time. They also remind the public that minor flooding is expected to develop on the Embarras River near Lawrenceville early in the weekend.
