Oblong Chamber Will Not Host Easter Egg Hunt

(Oblong) — The Village of Oblong and the Oblong Chamber have made a difficult announcement. The Chamber will not be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt this year. According to a post on the Chamber’s official Facebook page, after careful consideration, the decision was made due to the “continued economic challenges facing our community and businesses.” They say this decision was not made lightly, the Easter Egg Hunt costs have risen, and this event takes many volunteers. They understand the disappointment this may bring. However, the Chamber remains committed to supporting local businesses and strengthening our community.
