CCSO is Hiring Full-time Correctional/Security Officers

(Crawford Co.) — The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is hiring full-time correctional/security officers to perform jail and court security duties. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 21 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, have a valid driver’s license, and meet physical and background standards. CCSO states the position includes health insurance, life insurance, SLEP pension, paid holidays, vacation, personal days, and an $850 annual uniform allowance. Applications are due by Friday, March 20th, at Noon., and candidates must attend a mandatory written test on March 25th at 5:30 p.m. Applications can be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office, County Clerk’s Office, or downloaded from crawfordcountyil.org, and submitted in person or by email to fredchinn@crawfordcounty.illinois.gov or adminassist@crawfordcounty.illinois.gov.
