Bailey Wins Republican Nomination for Governor

(Undated) — Darren Bailey is set for a rematch with Governor, J.B. Pritzker. Bailey won the Republican Illinois Governor nomination in yesterday’s Primary. The former Illinois House member lost to Pritzker in the governor’s race in 2022. Pritzker didn’t face any Primary opposition as he seeks a third term. Here in Crawford County, Bailey received 87% of the votes for 2,208.
