National Average Hits $4 a Gallon

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has hit four dollars. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4 a gallon, up a penny from yesterday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.24 a gallon, unchanged from yesterday. It’s $4.07 a gallon in Indiana, down three cents from yesterday. Oklahoma drivers are paying the lowest statewide average at $3.23 a gallon, unchanged from yesterday. California drivers are paying the highest at $5.84 a gallon, up a penny yesterday.
