RPD Announces St. Patrick’s Patrol Enforcement Numbers

(Robinson) — The Robinson Police Department has released its St. Patrick’s enforcement numbers. According to RPD Police Chief, Eric Schmidt, officers made one impaired driving arrest and issued seventeen speeding citations during the St. Patrick’s enforcement period of March 13th through March 23rd. He says additional enforcement taken during this period included two drug arrests, two unlicensed driver citations, one Illegal Transportation of Alcohol citation, one Scott’s Law violation citation, and multiple other citations. The safety effort was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
