Statesmen Pick Up Win Over Rend Lake

(Undated) — The LTC Statesmen defeated Rend Lake 22-15 yesterday. Gabe Wilke hit two home runs and drove in seven to lead the Statesmen at the plate. Kline Woodward earned the win for LTC, surrendering four hits and two runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking none. Lucas Davids pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out two and walking four. Starting pitcher, Jackson Frasure, allowed six hits and five runs over one inning, striking out one and walking one. With the win, the Statesmen improve to 13-12 and 5-4 in Regional 24.
