Gas Prices Slip Lower

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen back below $4. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.96. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.19 a gallon, a nickel lower than Friday. Indiana drivers are paying a statewide average of $4.00 a gallon, seven cents lower than Friday. Oklahoma drivers are paying the lowest statewide average at $3.21 a gallon, two cents lower than Friday’s average. California drivers are paying the highest at $5.82 a gallon, down two cents from Friday.
