Periods of Showers Forecast Through the Weekend

(Undated) — Periods of showers and thunderstorms will continue into the first part of the weekend. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, after a brief break in precipitation this afternoon, scattered thunderstorms are expected to redevelop from late afternoon into this evening. They say strong south winds with gusts to 45 mph are expected tomorrow afternoon and evening. Periods of showers and storms will continue through Saturday. A few storms could become severe tomorrow and again Friday night into Saturday, with “all hazards possible.” Cooler weather arrives later this weekend with sunshine and highs in the low fifties for Easter Sunday.
