Gas Prices Slip Slightly Lower

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded slipped slightly lower over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.08, down two cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has surged to $4.27 a gallon, unchanged from Friday. It’s $3.90 in Indiana, down three cents. Oklahoma has the lowest prices in the nation at $3.22 a gallon, down a penny from Friday. California has the highest, with a statewide average of $5.87 a gallon, down two cents from Friday.
