(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gas remains above the four-dollar mark. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.17 a gallon. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says gas prices will likely keep rising even after the Strait of Hormuz reopens. They said yesterday that “restoring full flows of oil through the critical waterway will take months, keeping prices higher until output can return to normal.” The agency says it expects gas averages in the U.S. to peak at least $4.30 a gallon this month.
