Red Cross Reminds the Public to Donate

(Undated) – Your next chance to “Give the Gift of Life” in Crawford County is a couple of weeks away. Now would be the perfect time to visit redcrossblood.org and sign up for “RapidPass.” According to the Red Cross, “RapidPass” can help save time during your next blood or platelet donation by allowing you to review the pre-donation reading materials and answering the health history questions ahead of time. They recommend you schedule an appointment and then complete your “RapidPass.” The Red Cross says Type O negative blood donors and those giving platelets are especially urged to give now to keep critical blood products on the shelves. The next blood drive in Crawford County is on March 13th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Robinson Civic Center. Learn more at redcrossblood.org.
