National Average Gas Price Fell Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gas fell seven cents over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is hovering around $3.04 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.18 a gallon, unchanged from Friday. Drivers in Indiana are paying an average of $2.86 a gallon, down a penny from Friday. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest prices nationwide with an average of $2.60 a gallon, unchanged from Friday. Those in California are paying the highest prices in the nation at $4.67 a gallon, an eleven-cent decrease from Friday.
