Severe Weather Could Impact the Area Overnight Friday

(Undated) — We could be in for a stormy start to the weekend. According to the National Weather Service, sunshine and warm weather will stick around today and tomorrow, with only a slight chance of rain. However, Friday night things could get a bit “dicey.” They have issued a wind advisory that will go into effect Friday afternoon and continue into early Saturday. They say we could see 25 to 35 mph winds with gusts up to 50 mph. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop overnight Friday night, and the National Weather Service says some could be severe.
