Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded continues to decline. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is down four cents from Friday to $3.03 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.22 a gallon, down two cents over the weekend. Drivers in Indiana are paying an average of $2.93 a gallon, down two cents from Friday. Texas and Oklahoma are tied for the lowest statewide averages with drivers in both states paying are paying an average of $2.60 a gallon. Those in California are paying the highest prices nationwide at $4.57, down six cents from Friday.
