Village of Oblong to Hold Special Board Meeting Tonight

(Oblong) — The Oblong Village Board will hold a special meeting tonight. They are set to discuss the need for an Administrative Assistant and the process of creating the position. The Village Board will hold an “Executive Session” to discuss the candidates, start date, and pay rate for the Treasurer, an Administrative Assistant, a Public Works Superintendent to replace Gary Lanter, and a Public Works Office Manager to replace Dale Davis. The Oblong Village Board Special Meeting is set for tonight at 6 p.m. in the Farley Room of the Oblong Municipal Building.
