NWS Confirms Five Tornado Touchdowns

(Undated) — While Crawford County has been fortunate and seen little damage from recent storms, other area counties can’t say the same. The National Weather Service has confirmed that five tornadoes hit Central Illinois on Wednesday. They say an EF-0 tornado touched down just west of Cissna Park. EF-1 tornadoes hit Lincoln, southeast of Loda, and Montrose in Effingham County. An EF-2 was also reported near Vandalia Lake in Fayette County. No injuries were reported.
