(Undated) — The National Weather Service is reminding the public to remain “flood aware.” The latest Hazardous Weather Outlook says residual flooding will linger from the recent heavy rain. They warn that thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday and Wednesday night. However, severe storms are not expected, and rainfall amounts will generally be less than half an inch. The National Weather Service says the Wabash River at Hutsonville’s Legacy Power Plant is expected to rise to a crest of 22.6 feet Thursday morning and fall below flood stage Wednesday, April 16th.
