More Showers and Thunderstorms are in the Forecast

(Undated) — Another round of showers and thunderstorms are forecasted. According to the “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, thunderstorms are possible today, tonight, and tomorrow afternoon. They say severe storms are not expected. While rain amounts are forecast to be less than a half an inch, they continue to warn of “extensive lowland flooding” along the length of the Wabash River. The Wabash River at Hutsonville is expected to rise to a crest of 22.3 feet early tomorrow morning and fall below flood stage a week from today.
