(Princeton, IN) — Clean-up and recovery continue following a tornado touchdown in Princeton, Indiana, yesterday. The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-1 tornado with peak winds of 105 miles an hour briefly touched down in Princeton near Princeton Community High School and continued southeast across East Warnock Street before ending near East State Street. A video shot by Gibson County Sheriff, Bruce Vanoven, showed several damaged houses and debris along Seminary Street between Pine and Oak Streets. Vanoven says the damage is located within a roughly six-by-six block area. Yesterday’s storm marks Indiana’s 44th tornado of 2025.
