Gas Prices Lower to Begin the Week

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell slightly over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.13 a gallon, down four cents from Friday morning. The statewide average for Illinois is $3.34 a gallon, a four-cent drop from Friday. Indiana drivers are paying an average of $3.19 a gallon, four cents lower than the end of the week. Mississippi has the lowest average in the country at $2.62 a gallon, two cents lower than Friday. Meanwhile, California has the highest average at $4.70 a gallon, down three cents from Friday.
