(Undated) — Another round of showers and thunderstorms remains in the forecast. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, there is a “risk for significant severe storms” this afternoon across central and southeast Illinois. They say all severe weather hazards, including large hail exceeding 2 inches in diameter, thunderstorm wind gusts exceeding 75 mph, strong tornadoes, and isolated flash flooding are all possible. The risk for severe weather then returns on Tuesday as a frontal system lifts across the region. Stay tuned to Classic Hits, WTYE, for the latest weather information.
