CCEMA Reminds the Public to Stay “Weather Aware”

(Undated) — The Crawford County Emergency Management Agency is reminding the public of the importance of staying “weather aware.” They emphasize how important it is to have several ways to receive alerts, including a NOAA Weather Radio, your cell phone, local radio, TV, the internet, and the outdoor warning sirens. They remind the public that the outdoor warning system is to alert people outdoors to seek shelter immediately, and then to seek further information. They say you should never rely only on the outdoor warning system to alert you of weather dangers.
